How to level bed frame on uneven floor.
I am trying to find a self leveling bed frame or something sturdy.
Is there something i can buy that will allow me to level each leg of the bed frame individually.
I have a very uneven floor in my bedroom and a metal bed frame non leveling feet soon to be a wooden bed frame.
For example if you are trying to level a chair on a sloped floor slip a book of matches or a wooden shim under the leg that isn t reaching the ground.
Prop your bed up so that it is level even if the floor isn t.
I have tried putting shims under there but that doesnt help much.
Are the beds legs uneven even if it s on a level surface.
However your bad back might be aggravated by your uneven bed but it is almost certainly created by you spending too much time sat down.

Bed wood is pretty crappy and a bed itself is made to be supported.
A plywood subfloor will bridge any minor waves in the existing floor and leveling compound would help too.
If you aren t too concerned about keeping the furniture piece in pristine condition glue or tape the item to the bottom of the furniture for added stability.

You might consider getting a proper bed frame even a used one.
A simple permanent solution would be to scribe the legs to the floor.
If this is my best bet then what are recommended materials to use.
Floors are rarely perfectly level.
On the top side of the floor another fix it idea to lay down new hardwood over the existing floor.
You will have to make sure your joists can handle the addition of considerably more weight from the plywood subfloor and any floor coverings.
Because of this my bed is lopsided and its killing my back.
